Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

At the start of high school, Sasha became transgender.. Sasha had to face some tough times but knew his family would support him and believed that music would help. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters and were just recently forming the official duo of music. Since then, they have appeared at many local venues such as open mics. The Voice's coaches resisted talking about Sasha's past, however Jim told his story with an introduction clip prior to his performance. The two talked about their music choices and the way Sasha began playing guitar when he reached the age of just six years old. It was easier for Sasha to pick up guitar since his dad is a musician. Sasha faced identity issues in his youth, though he is a woman. In an Instagram post, Sasha spoke out about his struggles. Meanwhile, Jim overcame with emotion as he explained why he couldn't be a participant in those difficult times. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, was born a girl. Sasha Allen will be 19 to be 19 in 2021. At the time Sasha was a freshman in his high school years, he made the decision to come out to be transgender, and then began the transition into a male. Sasha posted to Instagram: "I'm proud to be the third person of trans gender to have appeared on this show. I'm so grateful to be a part of this group of people."
